Marcus Rashford reacts as Joshua Zirkzee spotted with Bayern Munich star
Marcus Rashford was among players across the football world to respond as Joshua Zirkzee was spotted on holiday with a Bayern Munich star in a post shared to social media.
Zirkzee endured a difficult first season at Manchester United, managing just three goals in the Premier League.
His campaign hit a low point when Zirkzee was booed by sections of the Man United crowd earlier in the season, an emotional moment that left the Dutch forward visibly affected.
Despite that rocky spell, he forced his way back into the team and ended the season with 49 appearances in all competitions. However, questions remain over his long-term future at Old Trafford.
Football Insider recently revealed that Zirkzee is one of six Man United players who could be sold this summer as the club look to raise funds amid financial pressure.
For now, though, the striker appears to be enjoying some time off during the off-season, catching the attention of fans and players alike with his latest appearance alongside a familiar Bundesliga face.

Joshua Zirkzee links up with Jamal Musiala during Club World Cup
While Zirkzee is currently enjoying his summer holiday, he appears to have linked up with Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala.
Musiala shared a photo of the pair on Instagram, captioned “Friends & fam” with Zirkzee responding in the comments with a series of heart emojis.
Plenty of familiar faces across the footballing world reacted to the post, including Rashford, Eberechi Eze, Matthijs de Ligt and Ryan Gravenberch, all of whom dropped a like.
Musiala is currently back in action with the German champions after Bayern Munich cruised past Auckland City in their opening Club World Cup fixture, which kicked off on 15 June.
The 22-year-old produced a standout performance in the tournament opener, scoring a hat-trick against the New Zealand outfit. Despite his involvement on the pitch, it seems Musiala is still finding time to unwind, with Zirkzee spotted alongside him.
Musiala had been heavily linked with a blockbuster move to Man United in September 2024, but those rumours were swiftly put to bed when he signed a new deal with Bayern in February. Still, the two have still remained close despite him committing his future.
Man United plan Marcus Rashford sale amid uncertain future

Although Rashford remains active on social media, it’s unlikely he’ll be teaming up with Zirkzee on the pitch any time soon.
Football Insider revealed on 4 June that Man United are looking to sell Rashford this summer. However, due to his high wages, the club have not ruled out the possibility of another loan move instead.
It’s believed Rashford has enlisted the help of super-agent Pini Zahavi to secure a move away from Old Trafford, with Barcelona among the clubs reportedly interested in the England international.
Where the forward ends up next remains to be seen, but a return to United’s starting XI currently looks off the cards.
