Marcus Rashford sends message to Man United teammates after he’s axed again

Man United forward Marcus Rashford took to social media to send a message to his teammates after their 1-0 Premier League win over Fulham on Sunday (January 26).

The 27-year-old was once again left out of the squad entirely as Ruben Amorim’s side earned an edgy win over the West London club.

Rashford hasn’t made an appearance for his boyhood club since admitting he wants a “new challenge” after their 2-1 win over Man City earlier in the season, missing their last nine games across all competitions.

United scored the one and only goal in the 78th minute after Lisandro Martinez’s long-range effort took a huge reflection off of Fulham midfielder Sasa Lukic.

The away win over Fulham sees Amorim’s side climb up to 12th with eight wins, five draws, ten defeats, and 29 points from their 23 Premier League games.

The winger had been a key player for United before Amorim took over, starting 19 of his 24 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists in his 1500 minutes of action.

Rashford may no longer have a future at United, but he took to Instagram after the win over Fulham to support his teammates, saying: “Congratulations on the win lads.”

United’s attention will be on the Europa League after their win over Fulham as they prepare for a trip to Romania to face FCSB on Thursday (January 30).

Amrorim’s side will then host Crystal Palace in their first game of February, knowing a win could see them leapfrog Brentford in 11th.
