Marcus Rashford shares first Aston Villa training ground update
Aston Villa forward Marcus Rashford took to social media to share his first training ground update since joining the club from Man United.
The 27-year-old joined Unai Emery’s side for the remainder of the season after expressing his desire for a “new challenge” having been left out of United’s 2-1 win over Man City earlier in the campaign.
Man United were unable to replace Rashford during the January transfer window, and many fans are starting to worry whether manager Ruben Amorim is starting to question his position at the club.
Villa, on the other hand, were able to add substantial quality to their squad, signing Donyell Malen, Andres Garcia, Axel Disasi, and Marco Asensio alongside Rashford.

The forward had been a key player for United before Ruben Amorim took over, starting 19 of his 24 games across all competitions, scoring seven goals, and providing three assists in his 1500 minutes of action.
Rashford scored the first goal of the Amorim era, bagging after just two minutes in their 1-1 Premier League draw with Ipswich earlier in the season.
The England international took to Instagram to share an image from his first training session at his new club, clearly excited to get started.

Some Aston Villa fans remain unconvinced by the deal, with many suggesting his signing could hinder the progress of one of their young stars.
Villa remain in contention for Champions League qualification at the end of the season despite their 2-0 defeat to Wolves on Saturday (February 1), sitting six points behind fourth-placed Chelsea.
