Marcus Rashford shares new post amid Man United storm

Marcus Rashford has taken to social media again after his omission from the Man United squad as they beat Man City 2-1.

The Red Devils beat their rivals in dramatic fashion with two late goals from Bruno Fernandes and Amad Diallo at the Etihad on Sunday (15 December).

Ruben Amorim made the controversial decision to omit both Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho ahead of the derby.

The Englishman is being heavily linked with a move away from Old Trafford and United are thought to be “under pressure” to make a sale. Since he’s come under scrutiny for poor performances, some believe he’s under more pressure than others.

The 27-year-old posted his latest activities on social media amid all speculation. He’s known to make charitable donations and visits and decided to visit a school this winter month. He captioned an Instagram post saying: “Great day joining in the Christmas festivities at Button Lane Primary School”.

Man United look set to allow Marcus Rashford to leave boyhood club

Despite his commitment to Man United, it looks as if the new head coach is looking for a future without Rashford.

With the winger out of the squad, Diallo stepped up in place and scored the last-minute winner. In contrast to Rashford’s current prospects, the club are set to offer the Ivorian a new contract after his recent performances.

This shows the stance of the club in plain sight. Even though some believe he’ll be back in the squad in no time, there are signs they want to build a future without him.

Leaving him out was a risky move before such an important derby match, but the win has reinforced his position to make those sorts of decisions, even if it paid off extremely late.

Rashford has been regularly singled out and criticised, despite his 30-goal season a couple of years ago. But the Portuguese coach must have a plan in place if they’re willing to let a player of his undeniable talent leave.

In other news, Bruno Fernandes sent a message after a Man United player’s performance in the derby, leaving him stunned.
