Marcus Rashford ‘sitting it out’ at Man United after confirmed news – pundit
Marcus Rashford is “sitting it out and waiting for a fresh start” under a new manager at Man United, according to Paul Robinson.
The former Premier League goalkeeper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed Rashford, 24, is one of many United players who’s future relies on the club’s next appointment.
Rashford has fallen down the pecking order at Old Trafford following the arrival of Ralf Rangnick.

However, speaking to club media (4 March), Rangnick heaped praise on the forward and his “abundant talent.”
According to The Times‘ Paul Hirst (12 January), United plan to open contract talks with Rashford before the end of the season.
His current deal expires in the summer of 2023.
Robinson suggested the club’s next managerial appointment will have a big impact on negotiations.
“There is so much uncertainty at Old Trafford,” he told Football Insider.
“So much depends on who their next manager is.
“A lot of these Manchester United players are probably very aware of the fact Rangnick is only going to be there for a few more months.

“A few of them might be thinking, ‘I can hold on until then.’ There is a new start with a new manager around the corner. I think there is an element of that with a lot of the underperforming players.
“That could well be the case with Rashford, I think he is sitting it out and waiting for a fresh start under a new manager next season.
