Ange Postecoglou’s side defeated Tamworth 3-0 in the FA Cup, but their forward line still lacks spark. Fans have voiced frustration with Timo Werner’s performances this season, calling for him to be sent back to Leipzig.

United face pressure to sell Rashford as they navigate Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) and seek funds to support their new manager. However, it seems Spurs would only be interested in a loan deal.

The Lilywhites have had an inconsistent season, currently sitting 12th in the league, but they hold a 1-0 advantage over Liverpool in the League Cup semi-final.

Yet, the potential move for Rashford has sparked criticism among Spurs fans. Despite his seven goals in 24 appearances this season, many fans are opposed to him joining.

One fan commented, “He’s done as a top-tier player” and urged the club to “keep him away”. Another supporter backed Postecoglou, saying, “Ange will never allow a player of the same calibre as Timo [Werner].”

In other news, Son Heung-Min made a special gesture to Tamworth after their FA Cup victory.
