‘Marcus Rashford’s Man United career is over’ after confession – fans react

Man United supporters are adamant that Marcus Rashford’s career at Old Trafford is over after Ruben Amorim’s admission about his future.

During the pre-Bodo/Glimt match press conference he said, “That position [number nine] is not the best one for him. He was fighting with two giants [vs Ipswich]. We will try to find the right solution for him but he has to be Marcus to return to that [form]. He has to be the first one to want it.”

Amorim opted to start Rashford upfront in his first game in charge last Sunday against Ipswich, and the England international rewarded him with a goal in the first two minutes of the game.

However, Amorim has seemingly made it clear that he doesn’t see Rashford’s long-term future as the number nine for United.

The 27-year-old has played all across the frontline throughout his career at Old Trafford, but there remains a debate about where he is best used.

Rashford has scored five goals and provided three assists in 19 appearances across all competitions this season for the 20-time champions.

Man United fans believe Marcus Rashford will leave the club

United supporters have claimed that Rashford’s time “is numbered” at the club as they have questioned whether he’s willing to step up and fight for his place as Amorim has demanded from him.

In other news, Man United had to buy ‘different gravy’ ex-Man City striker – Jeff Stelling.
