Mason Mount, Bukayo Saka react to ‘quality’ message from Arsenal star Kai Havertz
Man United ace Mason Mount and Bukayo Saka reacted to a message from Kai Havertz on social media.
The German began last season as the clear first-choice for the Gunners, scoring seven goals in the first half of the season.
But Havertz suffered a hamstring injury whilst on a warm-weather trip to Dubai, and scored just twice following his return from injury.
During that time, Arsenal failed to keep pace with Liverpool in the Premier League title race and were knocked out of the Champions League by the eventual winners, PSG.
And having finished second in the league for a third consecutive season, Havertz’s place in the Gunners’ side is now under threat as Mikel Arteta‘s side looks to dip into the transfer market.
Benjamin Sesko and Viktor Gyokeres are both of interest to Arsenal as the North London club looks to sign a more conventional number nine.

Kai Havertz shares message whilst away from Arsenal
Having endured another difficult season in North London, Havertz shared an image of himself enjoying a holiday with club captain Martin Odegaard on Instagram, captioned: “Quality time”.
The post was liked by former Chelsea teammate Mount and current Arsenal teammate Saka.
Arsenal transfer business leaves Kai Havertz future in doubt
Football Insider Verdict
Arsenal have agreed personal terms with Noni Madueke, whilst the club are also targeting a new striker this summer.
Whilst the Chelsea winger’s arrival will unlikely impact Havertz’s place in the team, the arrival of a new forward certainly will.
The German offers a lot more up front than many give him credit for, but it is difficult to look past the fact that the former Bayer Leverkusen man is not a natural goal-scorer.
Moving Havertz back into midfield to accommodate for a Gyokeres or Sesko is an option, but that comes with its own set of problems.
Despite using three central midfielders, Arsenal are fairly stacked at the position and with Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman emerging, using the 26-year-old ahead of them may stunt their development.
