‘Massive’ Man City claim issued by pundit after teammate’s Erling Haaland reveal
Paul Robinson has tipped Erling Haaland to have “a massive impact in his first season” at Man City.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Spurs and England number one is adamant the 21-year-old will be “a major success” once the team adapts to playing with a recognised number nine.
Man City announced the signing of Haaland from Borussia Dortmund on 10 May.

Speaking to Belgian outlet HLN, as quoted the Manchester Evening News (3 June), Kevin De Bruyne heaped praise on his “top-class” incoming teammate.
The Belgium international revealed “everyone expects a lot” from Haaland and predicted he would score around 25 goals for Pep Guardiola’s side next season.
When asked by Football Insider if Haaland would have an immediate impact, Robinson said: “I expect him to have a massive impact in the first season.
“The only thing that needs to be put into perspective is the amount of goals City score already. It would almost seem impossible for them to score more goals so I think he will just see City scoring different type of goals.
“They will have to adapt because they did not play with an out-and-out striker last season. Haaland is not going to play every game. They will revert back to playing the way they have done at times but when he does they need to adapt.

“I think he will have a huge impact though. He has all of the qualities and the assets to be a major success in the Premier League.
“Guardiola is clever enough to play to his strengths. They have brought him in to score goals so he will not play him out wide or as a false nine.”
In other news, a pundit has suggested the real reason Man City want £50million for Nathan Ake.
