Ibrox Sources: English club to sign Rangers player after agreeing fee

Doncaster Rovers are set to sign Rangers attacker Glenn Middleton after agreeing to pay a loan fee for next season, Football Insider can reveal.
Manager Steven Gerrard has given the green light for the winger, 19, to spend a season in England despite an impressive breakthrough campaign in 2018-19.
Football Insider revealed last month that the Light Blues were keen to send the winger out on loan next season to accelerate his development, and that the rising star wanted a return to England.
Ibrox sources have told Football Insider the terms of a deal have now been agreed between League One club Doncaster and Rangers, who are hoping it will have the same benefit for Middleton as Greg Docherty's loan at Shrewsbury Town in the same league last season.
Grant McCann's side will pay a six-figure fee for Middleton as well as contributing to his wages for the campaign.
This comes as Rangers look to strengthen in the wide forward roles this summer after already recruiting Jordan Jones from Kilmarnock to add to their current senior roster of Daniel Candeias, fit-again Jordan Jones and Eros Grezda.
The Light Blues are working on deals to sign Sheyi Ojo and Ryan Kent, both on loan from Liverpool, ahead of the club's return from pre-season training.
Middleton, who joined Rangers from Norwich City in January of last year, made 29 appearances last season, scoring five goals and supplying five assists, before he was demoted to the reserves for the final months of the campaign.
The teenager was born in Glasgow but moved to Northampton at the age of eight, before joining the youth-team ranks of the Canaries.
