Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is expected to leave Tottenham this summer after failing to nail down a regular place in the side under Ange Postecoglou.

Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed the Danish international is telling the club he is seeking a move in order to secure first-team football elsewhere.

Hojbjerg is believed to be keen on a move to Serie A after seeing his minutes in north London reduced since Postecoglou took over last summer.

AC Milan, Juventus and Napoli have all expressed an interest in signing the midfielder, whose contract is set to expire in June 2025.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg expected to part of Tottenham mass exodus

Hojbjerg has long been linked with a move away from Tottenham after seeing his influence on the squad diminish over the past year.

Football Insider revealed last month he has become “unhappy” with his playing time under Postecoglou and wants to leave the club this summer.

Although the Dane was named in every Premier League squad by the Australian manager, he only made eight starts and came off the bench 28 times.

Tottenham

There is expected to be plenty of changes behind the scenes at Tottenham this summer following Postecoglou’s scathing comments around the “rebuild” of his side.

Alongside Hojbjerg’s anticipated exit, Football Insider revealed the club will listen to offers for nine other senior players this summer as the Spurs boss looks to stamp his authority on the squad.
