Tottenham are plotting a late-window swoop for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, Football Insider can reveal.

The Premier League giants have been keeping close tabs on the Colombia international, 23, and are readying a move in the final 10 days of the window.

Ibrox sources have told Football Insider that Spurs are readying a move for Morelos after identifying him as a forward capable of providing cover and competition for Harry Kane.

The controversial striker has taken his game to new heights this season and spearheaded Rangers' double assault on Europe and the SPL title.

Football Insider revealed yesterday that Inter Milan have also turned their attention to signing Morelos after growing frustrated in their Olivier Giroud pursuit.
