The 23-year-old is keen to join the Scottish giants after making a big impact in the MLS.

Celtic will try to use Mateusz Bogusz to replace Matt O’Riley

O’Riley’s departure leaves a big hole in the Celtic midfield after playing 124 games for the club, where he scored 27 goals and provided 35 assists.

However, Rodgers has targeted Bogusz as being someone capable of doing that for him.

The attacking midfielder scored 17 goals and provided seven assists in 34 appearances for LAFC during last season.
