Matheus Cunha sends message to Wolves fans after confirmed transfer news

Wolves striker Matheus Cunha took to social media to seemingly shut down talk that he is looking to leave the club in the January transfer window.

The 25-year-old scored an added-time goal in their 2-0 Premier League win over rivals Aston Villa before pointing to the Molineux turf and making a love heart with his hands, indicating his intention to stay at the club.

Football Insider revealed (January 28) that Vitor Pereira’s side were bracing themselves for several offers for their star forward in the winter transfer window.

Wolves have since confirmed that Cunha has signed a new deal at the club, keeping him in the West Midlands until the summer of 2029.

Pereira’s side are still looking to bolster their defence before the end of the window, Football Insider revealed they’re ready to battle it out with Crystal Palace for Danhilo Doekhi.
