Mauricio Pochettino: Expert shares ‘100 per cent’ claim on sensational Tottenham manager swap after French update
Paul Robinson has urged Tottenham to fight tooth and nail to keep Antonio Conte this summer amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one said Harry Kane’s future is dependant on the 52-year-old remaining in north London.
According to French outlet L’Equipe, as per Marca (13 March), PSG have shortlisted Conte for their manager’s job.

The pressure is mounting on Mauricio Pochettino in the French capital after his side were knocked out of the Champions League by Real Madrid earlier this month.
According to talkSPORT‘s Alan Brazil (14 March), Pochettino is keen to return to Spurs, three years on from his departure.
When asked by Football Insider if a situation could arise where Conte and Pochettino swap places, Robinson said:
“Given the choice of the two, I would take Conte all day long. When you look at Conte’s CV and status in the game, Conte’s the better manager, 100 per cent.

“Top managers are a sought-after commodity. If Spurs want to be challenging for the top honours, you do not get rid of one of the best managers in the world.
“Harry Kane is really enjoying working under Conte. If the club want to develop and move forward you have to keep hold of Harry Kane and Conte. To keep hold of Kane you probably have to keep hold of Conte and vice versa.”
