McAvennie verdict on Celtic potentially selling Cameron Carter-Vickers after ‘massive’ confession
Frank McAvennie has suggested Celtic could sell Cameron Carter-Vickers if the “price is right”.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Hoops striker insisted the Celts are a “selling club” and said anyone will leave if the right offer comes in.
The 24-year-old completed a permanent move to Parkhead in the summer after a successful loan spell last season.

The former Spurs defender put pen to paper on a four year deal with the Green and Whites.
McAvennie suggested no players’ future is completely certain.
“Carter-Vickers is doing vey well at Celtic and he could not get a game at Tottenham,” he told Football Insider.
“Whether it is a difference in the game down there, I think he is doing very well.
“Every team up here is a selling club, if the price is right. If you get a price that Celtic say yes then anyone will be gone.
“Every time Celtic have a good player everyone says they want to leave but I would not be too concerned about it.“
Carter-Vickers has taken over the captain’s armband as Callum McGregor recovers from an injury.
As quoted by FootballScotland (14 October), the defender said it is a “massive honour” to be given the responsibility.
The USA international has made 11 appearances for the Celts across all competitions this season.

Last season, the centre-back made 46 total appearances for Ange Postecoglou’s side.
In those outings he scored four goals and provided two assists.
