McManus issues ‘unbelievable’ Sead Haksabanovic claim as Celtic footage analysed
Sead Haksabanovic is “flying” at Celtic and will only get better the more he plays.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the winger’s form.
Haksabanovic found himself on the scoresheet again as Celtic came from behind to beat Ros County on Saturday (12 November).
This came a week after the 23-year-old scored his first Celtic goals as his side beat Dundee United 4-2 on the previous Saturday (5 November).
The winger moved to Parkhead in the summer after his contract with Rubin Kazan was temporarily suspended following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
McManus has loved what he has seen from Haksabanovic.
“It’s an absolutely fantastic goal when you look at it,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He doesn’t give the goalkeeper time to set himself, it’s just a quick hit and he basically passes it into the net.
“It’s an unbelievable goal. He is really, really starting to hit form now. He was a bit slow to get going but we have really seen the best of him in the last two weeks.
“He is flying and he’s only 23. His best years are ahead of him. If he keeps playing the way he is playing then he will turn out to be a really good investment.
“They just have so many options now and there is a real competition for places. That competitiveness will drive the players to improve and be better as well.
“It’s a great position to be in.”

Celtic sit nine points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership.
The Hoops are currently in Australia playing in a tournament during their winter break.
