McManus lauds Ange Postecoglou after ‘incredible’ Celtic development ‘not seen for years’
Ange Postecoglou deserves the credit for Greg Taylor’s “incredible” turnaround at Celtic.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the left-back’s form.
Taylor, 24, slammed home his side’s second of the game as Celtic cruised to a 3-0 victory over Livingston on Sunday (30 October).
This was the defender’s second goal in as many league games after only scoring his first-ever Hoops goal against Hearts last weekend (22 October).
The game against Livingston also marked Taylor’s 100th game for the club and McManus has been blown away by his contribution.
“The turnaround in him has been incredible,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“He signed as a bit-part squad player from Kilmarnock, I don’t think any Celtic supporter saw him doing what he is doing now.
“You have to give him huge credit for that because he has obviously worked very, very hard to be where he is now.
“Of course, credit has to go to the manager as well, how many players have we seen improve under him now?
“Taylor is popping up in areas where left-backs shouldn’t be. His assist for the first goal, he pops up in the number 10 position to help out Kyogo.
“It was a great hit for the goal. The keeper is unsighted which is a shame for him but that’s two goals in two weeks now.

“He is also keeping a real quality player in Juranovic out of the team.
“In terms of his improvement, I’ve not seen that for years.”
In other news, a pundit has suggested when Ange Postecoglou could agree ‘huge’ deal as Celtic exit quotes emerge.
