West Ham United winger Grady Diangana is undergoing a West Brom medical this morning as he finalises a transfer, Football Insider understands.

The Baggies are continuing their late signing blitz by completing the capture of the 21-year-old attacker while simultaneously landing Charlie Austin from Southampton on loan.

A West Ham source has told Football Insider that Hammers manager Manuel Pellegrini has agreed for the blisteringly quick Diangana to be loaned out for the new season.

Pellegrini does not regard Diangana as a key part of his plans this campaign and believes his development will be best served by playing regularly in the Championship.

The rising star has made 20 West Ham senior appearances since bursting onto the scene last season and is already a favourite with the club's supporters.

The England Under-20 international Diangana was rewarded with a six-year contract in January and there is a sense at the club he is destined for big things.

Baggies manager Slaven Bilic is well aware of the potential of Diangana after his time in charge at the London Stadium and believes the attacker can make a big impact for his side.
