Michail Antonio to leave West Ham – sources
West Ham are expected to allow Michail Antonio to depart the club when his contract ends in June, sources have told Football Insider.
The Irons have the option to extend his deal a further 12 months but it is believed they are ready to let the 34-year-old walk away for free.
Antonio has been a key man for David Moyes during his tenure and has been the first-choice senior striker at West Ham in recent years.
However, Moyes is also set to depart the club in June when his contract expires.
West Ham are scouring the market for a new striker – who will replace Antonio after years of stellar service at the London Stadium.
Football Insider revealed earlier this month (15 April) that the Irons have made early enquiries over a summer move for Panathinaikos striker Fotis Ioannidis.

Sources have also told Football Insider (18 April) that Bournemouth star Dominic Solanke is a long-term target and could cost £50million this summer.
Antonio has managed just seven goals and two assists across 29 appearances in all competitions in the 2023-24 campaign.
He missed almost three months of action with a knee injury earlier this season.

The Jamaica international joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest in 2015 and has hit 82 goals in 305 games for the Irons.
He is the club’s all-time top Premier League goalscorer with 67 top-flight goals.
