Mills cannot believe what is happening at Tottenham after 'weird' Nuno reveal
Danny Mills cannot beleive Nuno Espirito Santo has failed to speak to Harry Kane about his Tottenham future.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Manchester City and England defender insisted Nuno should have rung Kane as soon as he was appointed as Spurs boss.
The Portuegese revealed yesterday, via Sky Sports, he had not been in contact with Kane.
The England captain has not reported back for pre-season training after being due back at Hotspur Lodge on Monday.
Football Insider revealed on 3 August Kane had told Jack Grealish he will do “whatever it takes” to secure a blockbuster move away from north London.
This site first broke the news in April the 28-year-old had told friends he wanted to leave his boyhood club this summer.

“When you hear Nuno hasn’t spoken to him, you think ‘Hang on, that’s a bit weird’,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“The big-name, one of the best strikers in the world who wants away and you haven’t even spoken to him?
“It would be the first person I was on the phone to ‘Harry, what’s happening? what can I do to make you stay? What can I help with?’ Just to keep him on side as much as anything else.
“It’s just turned into a bit of a mess from both sides. It doesn’t look good at all.”
Kane has three years left to run on his Tottenham contract after penning a six-year deal in 2018.
He has scored 221 goals and provided 47 assists in 336 games across all competitions for Spurs.
