Mills: Man United have decided when to sack Solskjaer after source update
Man United may not be planning any major transfer activity in January because they plan to sack Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at the end of the season.
So say ex-Man City and England full-back Danny Mills, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Man United’ January transfer plan was revealed.
A United source told Football Insider (November 18) the Glazers feel there has been enough investment in the team and no major additions are needed in the upcoming window.

It is now up to Solskjaer to transform his disjointed squad into an elite team capable of winning trophies.
They spent over £100million in the summer window with the signings of Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane.
“I don’t see them bringing in anybody in January,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“They brought a lot of players in the summer. Ole has been given what he wanted in terms of squad and strength in depth.
“Surely, they’ve got to be looking at it and thinking ‘If Ole doesn’t do it, we’ve got to move’. He might be moved on at the end of the season.
“They don’t need to be lumbered with any more signings that are no use to anybody and a waste of money effectively. That’s the last thing Manchester United need.
“I would suggest there will be no signings for Man United, there might be one or two that leave on loan, but no incomings.”

Solskjaer‘s side are in the middle of a run of just one win in their last six Premier League games.
They travel to strugglers Watford at the weekend before finishing the month with a Champions League game against Atalanta and the visit of Chelsea in the Premier League.
In other news, five Man United first-team stars have been told they can leave in January.
