Mills: Patterson could join Everton on loan from Rangers after latest
Danny Mills has claimed Nathan Patterson may have had his head turned by speculation linking him with a move away from Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Premier League and England full-back suggested Patterson could be set for a temporary Ibrox exit.
The Mirror reported on 22 August Everton have submitted a £5million bid for the right-back.

The Scottish Sun reported two days later Liverpool are also showing an interest in the 19-year-old.
Asked whether speculation could turn Patterson’s head, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Oh, definitely.
“It’s hard not to. You have to look at it, of course.
“You also need good people around you to say ‘Look, calm down, settle down a little bit.’
“You need to make sure you’re working hard still and not getting above your station. Speculation is one thing, actually getting a move or something happening is another thing.
“If you’re not getting too much game time at Rangers, are you going to get game time at Everton or another Premier League club? No, is the answer.
“Just knuckle down for a bit, keep learning your trade, keep working hard. When you get that opportunity you have to take it to show everybody how good you are.
“Then they may go ‘Ok, maybe he’s worthy of a loan move’.”

As quoted by the Liverpool Echo on 22 August, Steven Gerrard laughed off Everton’s approach and labelled the bid a “joke”.
Patterson could be set for a first start in the Scottish Premiership this season in Sunday’s Old Firm derby after James Tavernier missed yesterday’s Europa League tie.
In other news, Rangers have just signed their own Bruno Fernandes.
