Raphinha ‘whipping up a frenzy’ behind the scenes and he may be ready to quit Leeds – Mills
Danny Mills has claimed Raphinha would be prepared to quit Leeds United if a “bigger club” comes in for him.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender suggested the speculation linking him to Bayern Munich could be his agent, former Brazil and Barcelona midfielder Deco, “whipping things into a frenzy”.
Phil Hay of the Athletic reported last Thursday (30 December) that there has been no approach from the German giants over Raphinha.

Instead, Leeds are in negotiations over a new contract that would see the winger handed a significant pay rise.
Raphinha moved to Elland Road in the summer of 2020 for a £17million fee and has been a revelation with 14 goals and 10 assists in 47 Premier League games.
But Mills has suggested he would be tempted to leave the club if he is presented with a real offer from a bigger club.
“I don’t know him particularly well,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Whether it’s true or his agent whipping things into a frenzy to try and get some press attention out there we know he’s a quality player.
“Quality players attract attention. We know that is going to happen.
“I can see if a bigger club comes in I can see him being a lot more motivated to make that move than Kalvin Phillips.”

Eight of Raphinha’s 14 Premier League goals have come this season making him Leeds’ top scorer for the current campaign.
The Brazil international, 25, is under contract in west Yorkshire until the summer of 2024.
