Misfiring attacker must be axed: Three things we learned about Aston Villa from Middlesbrough draw
Snodgrass can become talisman
Villa managed to land winger Robert Snodgrass in the summer on a season-long loan from West Ham and he was the shinning light against Boro.
The 30-year-old has the technical ability to tear apart the Championship and was unfortunate not to score as his shot hit the crossbar.
He looked the most lively player and is someone that is going to thrive under manager Bruce, who he previously worked with at Hull.
All the early signs are there to suggest Snodgrass will be the key man this year for Villa and he reinforced that idea against Boro, but he now needs strikers that can get on the end of his deliveries.
