Morelos is thriving at Rangers thanks to ‘amazing’ thing I’ve seen on social media – McAvennie
Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has found his form thanks to his family coming back to Glasgow.
That’s according to former West Ham hitman Frank McAvennie, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the striker’s newfound form.
Morelos, 25, has scored six goals and chipped in with two assists under Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s management.

He had only scored seven in 19 under Steven Gerrard before he left to join Aston Villa.
On Christmas Day, Morelos shared an image of him and his family on his Instagram page.
McAvennie insists having his family close to him could have relaxed Morelos and helped him find his best form.
“I saw on social media that his partner is in the country,” McAvennie told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“I’m not sure she is around all the time so that can always help you, having your family around.
“It helped me, I can tell you that much. It’s amazing. It just relaxes you and makes you feel at home.
“So I imagine that has helped him in some ways. You can see how he’s playing.
“He’s been brilliant in recent weeks. The guy is pretty much guaranteeing you a goal every time he plays now.
“You can’t buy that. If he carries this on then he will have his best season for them.”

Morelos has now scored 107 goals for Rangers.
Those have come in just 213 games since joining in the summer of 2017.
