Myles Lewis-Skelly now completely finished at Arsenal as £60m update emerges
Mikel Arteta could be about to end the Arsenal career of Myles Lewis-Skelly as the Gunners already make plans ahead of the summer transfer window.
Arsenal have joined the race for Marc Guehi, with a plethora of Premier League giants after the Crystal Palace star’s signature, but a January deal looks unlikely at Selhurst Park.
Transfers have become a priority as Arteta aims for the Premier League title, following injuries to Riccardo Calafiori, Cristhian Mosquera, and most recently, Piero Hincapie against Liverpool.
Gabriel Magalhaes has only returned from injury recently himself, showcasing how exactly the Gunners could lose the title race, despite forcing a six-point gap at the top of the table.

Mikel Arteta to re-enter the transfer market
Stefan Borson told Football Insider that Arsenal are not at risk of a UEFA rule breach, with supporters expecting more deals to be done ahead of the second half of the 2025-26 campaign.
Man City have already signed Antoine Semenyo as the Premier League title race takes another twist, and those in North London are eager for there not to be a repeat of the Citizens returning to take top spot.
One player who has been linked with an exit, however, is Lewis-Skelly, having struggled to hold down the left-back spot after multiple defensive signings, often making mistakes at left-back.

The 19-year-old came on as a substitute against the Reds on Thursday, 8 January, but with just one league start to his name this season, Arteta wants to strengthen the left-back position, as per The Sun.
Myles Lewis-Skelly could be easily replaced by Tino Livramento
In fact, Newcastle United‘s Tino Livramento is high up on their list of potential candidates, with Man City holding a long-standing interest in the full-back, who will have two years left on his deal in the summer.
While the Magpies are keen for him to sign a new deal, there has been no progress made for the 23-year-old, and, unfortunately for Lewis-Skelly, he is capable of doing a job on either side of defence.
Due to Lewis Hall, he often finds himself on the right flank, which makes sense for a right-footer, but he is more than comfortable on the opposite side, which makes him such a commodity.
With Jurrien Timber first choice on the opposite, and Livramento too good to be stuck on the bench, that would only see Lewis-Skelly fall even further down the pecking order than he already has.
