Nathan Patterson’s agent ‘will be happy’ as pundit issues Everton transfer claim
Nathan Patterson will not struggle to find a new club if Everton make him available for loan.
That’s according to former Rangers and Scotland boss Alex McLeish, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about an update on the young defender.
According to The Sun‘s Alan Nixon (23 July), Frank Lampard wants Patterson, 20, to go out on loan in order to play more games this season as he targets a new right-back.

The report claims Championship sides will be “queuing up” to sign the Scotland international on a temporary basis.
The former Rangers man played just 45 minutes of football in all competitions for Everton after arriving at the club in January before then suffering a season-ending ankle injury in April.
McLeish is certain Patterson will not be short of options if he is made available for loan.
“It has been a bit of a disappointment for Nathan,” McLeish told Football Insider’s Ben Wild
“If he is going to move again then the only happy person will be his agent. He will be making some more dough.
“But I’m sure even he would want his client to be a star at Everton. He definitely had the potential in the Rangers team and in the Scottish league.
“We all know the Premier League is a different kettle of fish. Frank is the boss, if he doesn’t get a good feeling for the player then he has to do what is right for the club.
“Nathan, I feel, is a terrific young player and he should have no bother getting fixed up.”

Patterson joined Everton from Rangers in the January window for a reported initial fee of £16million as one of Rafa Benitez’s last acts at Goodison Park.
He has 10 Scotland caps and one international goal to his name.
In other news, pundit claims Everton may now accept Dominic Calvert-Lewin offer amid “vital” claim.
