Neco Williams: Liverpool could get robbed by London club after source reveal – pundit
Liverpool have “underpriced” Neco Williams and Fulham could get a bargain this summer, according to Paul Robinson.
The former Tottenham and England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, heaped praise on the 20-year-old who “is only going to get better.”
Williams has excelled since moving to Craven Cottage on loan for the remainder of the season in January.
A Fulham source told Football Insider (20 March) that the club will try to sign the right-back permanently if they secure promotion.
The Wales international is understood to be keen on making a permanent move to establish himself as a Premier League regular.
Williams, who is under contract at Anfield until the summer of 2025, is valued at around £12million.
When asked for his thoughts on a potential £12million permanent transfer, Robinson told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “Wow, that is not a lot.
“It’s not a huge price at all. That is cheap in all honesty.
“It is a difficult one for Liverpool. They would probably like to keep him but at the end of the day, he is not going to get in that team ahead of Trent [Alexander-Arnold]. No matter how well he does, Trent will be first-choice.

“I think he is very, very underpriced though. It would be a great deal for Fulham.
“He’s a top player. He’s had a very good season and is only going to get better.”
