Nelson Semedo and Raul Jimenez respond as emotional exit from Wolves confirmed
Wolves players both past and present responded to an emotional farewell message after an exit from the club was confirmed.
Vitor Pereira helped spark a resurgence at Wolves after replacing Gary O’Neil midway through the 2024/25 season, steering the side clear of relegation and ending the campaign on a stronger note.
However, the club still finished in 16th place and now face a major rebuilding task this summer, with several key figures heading for the exit door.
Top scorer Matheus Cunha has already completed a move to Manchester United, while left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri continues to be strongly linked with a switch to Manchester City.
As the dust settles on the season, tributes have been pouring in for another departure, but this time from behind the scenes, as a long-serving staff member confirmed they will be leaving the club.

Jimenez and Semedo join Wolves tributes as club photographer confirms exit
Plenty of Wolves players reacted on Instagram after club photographer Jack Thomas shared an emotional farewell message, confirming his departure from the club.
In his post, Thomas included a series of images captured over the years, featuring players from different eras—ranging from Ruben Neves and Pedro Neto to Cunha and Joao Gomes.
Nelson Semedo commented: “Thank you Jack, wish you all the best for you and your family mate” while former captain Conor Coady, now at Leicester, added: “Top man mate… good luck in the future.”
Former Wolves stars also showed their support, with West Ham defender Max Kilman and Raul Jimenez both liking the post, in a clear show of appreciation for Thomas’ long-standing contribution to the club.
Galatasaray push to sign Nelson Semedo amid Wolves contract uncertainty

It looks set to be a summer of change for Wolves, as Football Insider exclusively revealed Turkish giants Galatasaray are pushing to win the race to sign defender Semedo on a free transfer.
Since arriving at Molineux, Semedo has been a key presence in the squad and was even handed the captain’s armband after Mario Lemina was stripped of the role earlier this season.
The 31-year-old’s contract is set to expire at the end of the month. While Wolves have offered him a new deal, it remains unclear whether the Portuguese international will commit his future to the club or move on this summer.
