'Never gets old', 'Legend' – Celtic fans revel in anniversary of iconic moment v Rangers

Celtic fans have been reacting on social media as the club have paid tribute to an iconic celebration by club captain Scott Brown.
The 32-year-old did what has affectionately become known as ‘The Broony’ against Rangers seven years ago, after scoring the equalising goal in a 2-2 Scottish Cup tie at Ibrox.
Celtic’s official Twitter account reminded supporters of the anniversary.
“‘The Broony’ was born 7 years ago today…”, as it showed footage of Brown celebrating in front of El Hadji Diouf.

Here are some of the best reactions from Twitter to the anniversary of the iconic celebration:

The Hoops went on to win the Scottish Cup, with Brown captaining the side in a 3-0 win over Motherwell in the final.
Brown has had huge success in Glasgow since joining the Bhoys from Hibernian in 2007, for a fee of £4.4million.
He has won a total of 14 trophies so far in his time at the club, including seven Scottish Premiership league titles, six of those as club captain.
The 32-year-old is well on the way to winning an eighth title, and is set to lead the Hoops as they aim to complete a second successive domestic treble and have success in Europe, as they face Zenit in the last 32 of the Europa League.
