‘Never hated a Man United player as much’ – Fans fume at what one player did vs Brighton

Man United’s problems have not gone away even after the sacking of manager Ruben Amorim as the club’s crisis deepened on Sunday evening.

Darren Fletcher took charge as Man United were knocked out of the FA Cup 2-1 by Brighton at Old Trafford.

Following Man United’s 2-2 draw at Burnley, Fletcher has yet to win a game in interim charge of the club.

Brajan Gruda’s first half strike, and Danny Welbeck’s goal in the second half, proved the difference as Man United’s winless streak extended to four matches.

Diogo Dalot ‘very useless’ in Man United defeat

Man United have no plans to let Diogo Dalot leave in the January transfer window, but fans have been left wanting an upgrade on the 26-year-old following his performance against Brighton.

Dalot has previously been criticised for his Man United performances, and the full-back missed a big chance against the Seagulls to score in the first half.

The Portugal international was not the only player to be left feeling the frustrations of the fans, with Benjamin Sesko and Mason Mount also among those criticised.

One fan though does not believe Dalot is “good enough” to continue at Old Trafford, with another claiming he should be “playing in League Two.”
