Celtic player ratings v St Johnstone: Two starters 4/10 in stalemate
GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS
Dorus de Vries – 5: Looked back to his usual nervous self after his good performance against Zenit, seemed to struggle with the backpass and generally looked uncomfortable throughout the game
Cristian Gamboa – 5: Didn’t do much to show that he could be the replacement for Mikael Lustig, looked slightly better going forward than defending but didn’t impress that much
Jack Hendry – 4: Looked generally quite poor in only his second start for the Hoops, almost let the Saints for a goal by leaving his man unmarked but he got away with it, unlikely to start against Zenit
Kristoffer Ajer – 5: Wasn’t at his best, played almost a level down from his performance against Zenit, still probably the best Hoops defender which is a tad worrying
Calvin Miller – 5: Did ok going forward but struggled slightly at the back, hasn’t played for months so he gets some slack but unlikely to take Tierney’s place anytime soon
