Celtic could pocket reported £6m+ in Jan: Three positions Rodgers must bolster with cash
CENTRAL MIDFIELD
Celtic need a long-term replacement for Scott Brown, a player who has been an incredible servant for the club, but who at 32 is entering the latter stages of his career.
A player should be signed in January, to play alongside Brown at first and eventually replace him. That player would seem to be John McGinn of Hibs.
McGinn argubly bested Brown in their midfield battle in the recent 2-2 draw at Easter Road, and he would inject energy into a side which looked badly lacking in the defeat against Hearts.
