Newcastle could let 22-yr-old go in January, his three teammates will swing the decision
William Osula is struggling to force his way into the first team as he contemplates a pivotal January move to get more minutes.
Osula was denied a deadline day move to Eintracht Frankfurt during the summer as Newcastle opted to keep the striker.
Nick Woltemade and Yoane Wissa are both ahead of Osula at Newcastle after the club splashed the cash to revamp their forward line.
The 22-year-old has started just two matches all season as he desperately seeks to force his way back into the Denmark squad ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

Yoane Wissa’s fitness levels the key factor in William Osula heading out on loan in January
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, the Magpies would only consider letting the number 18 leave in January if all their strikers are fit.
Sources told Football Insider that Eintracht Frankfurt are eager to reignite a loan deal for Osula in January after the summer move fell through.
This dream could become a reality if Wissa comes back from injury as expected before the November international break.

Speaking on the Inside Track podcast, I explained: “Right now Newcastle need him [Osula] because Yoane Wissa is out injured, the other summer signing that they brought in.
“A lot will depend on the fitness of Wissa and what Newcastle decide to do with Willy Osula if Wissa comes back fit.
“They’ll have Wissa, Woltemade and also Anthony Gordon [who] can play in a striking role as well.
“If all those three players are fit and available around January, then maybe Newcastle could consider letting the player [Osula] leave in January.

“But right now he’s needed for Eddie Howe’s side and, to be fair to the player, he’s got his head down and is contributing to the team.
“But there’s no doubt that the interest from Eintracht Frankfurt is still there and I think there’ll be other clubs who will also be looking at Osula in January.”
Newcastle’s January focus will also be on Elliot Anderson reunion
Sources told Football Insider that Newcastle are accelerating a deal to bring Elliot Anderson back to St James’ Park.

The Englishman was sold to Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2024 due to PSR forcing their hand, but his outrageous form has caught the eye of Howe.
The Toon’s midfield remains one of the best in the league, yet an injury to any of the dogged trio could cause major issues for the former Bournemouth boss.
Whilst sending Osula out on loan will be a high priority in the upcoming window, tempting the Magpies academy graduate back home will also be on the top of their January agenda.
