Newcastle fans all say the same thing about Eddie Howe’s future after history is made vs Qarabag
Newcastle fans have pledged their support to Eddie Howe after their victory over Qarabag.
The Magpies progressed into the round of 16 in the Champions League with ease, winning 3-2 at St James’ Park to claim a 9-3 victory on aggregate.
It was a much-needed boost for Howe, with Newcastle’s Premier League form putting him under immense pressure.
However, with the victory over the Azerbaijani side, ensuring that he became the first English manager in Champions League history to claim seven wins in the competition, supporters have come to his defence.

Newcastle fans give their support to Eddie Howe
Despite their progression in the Champions League, the Magpies have been poor in the Premier League.
As it stands, they sit 11th in the table and are nine points off fifth, with this position likely to earn qualification into the Champions League this season.
On top of this, there is a real possibility that the Magpies don’t even qualify for any European competition, which would no doubt be a massive failure.
Therefore, despite Howe overseeing plenty of success at St James’ Park in recent years, he has now emerged as one of the favourites to be sacked next in the Premier League.
Nevertheless, many fans would be unhappy to see the manager depart, and have come to his support on X after his recent achievement.
To think people want him sacked right now 🫠
