‘Another level’, ‘Superb’ – Newcastle fans rave over one man’s ‘masterclass’ v West Ham
Newcastle United fans have been left raving over the display of Christian Atsu on social media after his performance in the Magpies’ victory against West Ham on Saturday.
Rafael Benitez’s men came out on the right side of a five-goal thriller at the London Stadium, which saw the Magpies take a 3-1 lead before Andre Ayew, who had already seen a penalty saved by Rob Elliot earlier in the clash, net to make it a nervy end to the game for both sets of fans.
However the three goals scored by Newcastle, which came courtesy of Henri Saivet, Mo Diame and Atsu, were enough to secure the three points, and it was the Ghanaian speed machine who caught the eye of the Magpies’ faithful.
The Toon Army took to Twitter to sing the praises of the winger, after he set up one and scored another to secure the club an early Christmas present.

The Magpies ended their run of nine games without a win with victory, and have tripled their points haul from their winless streak, having picked up just one point from a possible 27 prior to Saturday’s clash at the London Stadium.
