The Spanish youngster was entrusted as the creative foil to Hayden’s industrial nature, but there would have still been an expectation for him to uphold his defensive duties.
It was a poor outing for the 21-year-old, who failed to show the form which had earned him a five-year contract with the club.
His poor passing contributed to Leicester’s first goal, and an inability to control the centre of the park meant the Foxes were able to dominate.
