Jacob Murphy – 5
His second successive start for the first time in his Newcastle career, Murphy evidently just needs game time to live up to expectation.
He has been behind Christian Atsu in the pecking order but with the Ghanaian’s injury, is starting to be given the chance to prove himself.
He has pace and drive that few others in the side do, and looks fearless at times, even if the end product leaves something to be desired.
A work in progress, no doubts, but there are glimmers of what he can bring the this Newcastle side.
