Newcastle told to sack Eddie Howe after latest news – fans react

Newcastle United fans have urged the club to sack Eddie Howe due to the transfer decisions he’s made and the players he’s stuck with.

The Magpies are dealing with a lengthy injury list that compromises seven players heading into their EFL Cup match against Chelsea on Wednesday (30 October).

Many supporters are questioning Howe’s decision-making in signing certain players and staying loyal to others such as Callum Wilson who have proven to be injury-prone.

It has been a mixed start to the new campaign for the Magpies, with the club currently 12th in the Premier League table after the opening nine games.

Newcastle were defeated 2-1 by Chelsea in the league on Sunday (27 October), and that has led to an increase in pressure on Howe’s position as manager due to the expectations that are now on the club.

However, Football Insider revealed that Newcastle’s board are keen to back Howe as he has “credit in the bank” for what he’s done so far at St. James’ Park.
