Newcastle United absolutely howling after what Arne Slot has said about Alexander Isak
Newcastle United supporters have kept track of Alexander Isak as the striker’s struggles continue at Liverpool.
Since forcing a move away from St James’ Park, Isak has only played 253 minutes of football for Liverpool, with those at Anfield becoming more and more frustrated by his lack of fitness.
Liverpool also had an interest in Victor Osimhen, who has transformed the Galatasaray team this season, netting nine times in 12 games so far, having hit the back of the net 37 times last term.
With Cody Gakpo, Hugo Ekitike, Ryan Gravenberch, and Mohamed Salah all chipping in with goals, Isak’s struggles have not been as widely criticised as many would have expected back at St James’ Park.
However, the Newcastle fans will be loving the latest update, nonetheless.

Arne Slot drops another update on Alexander Isak
Slot is clearly aware of just how frustrating the situation is for the Sweden international, with the manager even ready to snub more available players in order to get his fitness up, hilariously.
“We can improve as a team, and we will improve definitely as individuals because players will be adapted to the league much better,” the Liverpool boss said on Friday, 21 November.
He continued: “With Alex, it will still take a bit of time, but he will end up being the player he was at Newcastle if we get him fit. I do know that 100 per cent fit Alexander Isak is a big, big, big plus for this team.
“But for him to get there, he might need to have minutes where you could argue that another player might be further ahead of him in terms of match fitness.“
Newcastle United have already moved on to Nick Woltemade
The striker’s transition from Newcastle to Liverpool has been laughable, and the Reds’ plans to get him back firing are just the icing on the cake.
Eddie Howe has quickly forgotten about the forward, having signed Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart during the summer transfer window, and he has taken to the Premier League like a duck to water.
He already has six goals from 14 appearances, linking up perfectly with his teammates in domestic and European competitions, and this is only the start of his career at St James’ Park.
While Liverpool continue to struggle with Isak and his inability to get fully fit, Newcastle fans will enjoy the player’s downfall and keep watching Woltemade improve and impress.
