Newcastle United could seal deal for Martin Dubravka upgrade after journalist’s talks update – expert
Newcastle United would be signing an upgrade on Martin Dubravka in Dean Henderson, according to Paul Robinson.
The ex-Spurs and England number one, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said Henderson, 25, would be a “great” signing for Eddie Howe’s side.
Henderson has struggled for game time at Man United this season with David de Gea the club’s number one.

According to the Manchester Evening News‘ Samuel Luckhurst (19 May), Henderson is closing in on a move to St. James’ Park after talks on Wednesday.
A season-long loan deal is on the cards but a permanent transfer is not said to be out of the question.
His contract at Old Trafford expires at the end of June 2025.
When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs for his assessment of the latest, Robinson said: “That would be a great move for Dean Henderson.
“He lost his place at the beginning of this season to David de Gea and David de Gea has never looked back. He has had an excellent season in a struggling Man United side. Unfortunately for Dean Henderson he has recaptured his form.
“The United goalkeeping department is extremely strong because they had Tom Heaton as well. It will be frustrating for Henderson.
“Where better to go than Newcastle. The project there is very exciting.

“Henderson is young in goalkeeping terms and Newcastle need a number one for years to come.
“I rate Dubravka but Henderson is better for me. He is an improvement. If they can have both in their squad it would be great for them.”
