Newcastle United fans told ‘don’t panic’ despite ‘huge’ problem – pundit
Newcastle United’s top-four challenge will not be affected by Alexander Isak’s latest injury blow.
That is according to Spurs expert John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Since joining Newcastle in a club-record deal back in August, Isak has only made three appearances for the club, scoring twice.

The 23-year-old then picked up an injury on international duty and has not been seen by the Toon Army since.
As quoted by Craig Hope, Eddie Howe updated fans on Monday (19 December), to say that Isak remains sidelined and his recovery is being judged “day by day”.
However, Wenham claims fans should not be concerned by this development.
“I don’t think, for Newcastle, it’s the end of the world,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“If Callum Wilson was injured as well then they would have a huge problem but he and Chris Wood both played the other night.
“Allan Saint-Maximin is back as well. Almiron has been in great form this season and he is still fully fit. Newcastle have been able to get up to third without Isak.
“So I think they will be fine without him being there. Of course, when he comes back then it is another option for them.
“But even when he does come back I think Wilson starts ahead of him. Fans might be worried but look at where they are without him.
“Obviously they want to see their £70million man and hopefully for them, he is back soon. I wouldn’t panic.”

Isak joined Newcastle after scoring 44 goals in 131 games for Real Sociedad.
He has also made 37 appearances for Sweden.
