Like Ritchie, Atsu struggled to create the opportunities expected from him, but it was still a lively performance.
Saw a fierce strike drift just wide of the goal in the first half, before another thunderous effort knocked Scott Dann to the ground after hitting him in the face.
He needs to work on his final ball as any striker would struggle with his lack of chances created, but at least he is coping with the physicality and demands of the Premier League.
Will still be in the starting XI next week.
