Jaissle spent his seven-year playing career between 2007 and 2014 at Hoffenheim, making 77 professional appearances before he was forced to retire through injury at just 25-years-old.
The German spent time coaching at Brondby and Red Bull Salzburg before being appointed as the new manager of Austrian side Liefering in 2021.
He equalled their highest-ever league finish and thus was appointed as Salzburg's first-team boss later that same year, going on to win two Austrian Bundesliga titles and an Austrian Cup.
Jaissle joined Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli in July 2023, and guided the club to successive AFC Champions League triumphs in the last two campaigns, becoming the first manager to ever achieve such a feat.

Jaissle will be aiming to recruit new players rather than let first-teamers leave over what promises to be a hectic next few weeks at St James' Park.
Sources have revealed to Football Insider that there are "major concerns" inside the club around the state of the squad that Jaissle is inheriting, with Joelinton one of the few remaining fan-favourites.
The Mail reported last week that the Brazilian has asked to leave Newcastle this summer to pursue a move to Saudi Arabia, although they are yet to receive an offer for his services.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for him at the club, with Jaissle surely looking to keep him around for at least one more season.
