The evidence is growing that the teenager is not just worthy of being promoted to the senior squad, but that he is a player destined to establish himself in the Premier League in the same way that fellow United academy product Lewis Cook has done this season. Operating as a left-sided forward, Clarke has been tormenting defenders since being promoted to the Under-23s after being simply too good at Under-23s level. This kid is a special talent and fans would love to see him in the first team before the season is out.
