‘I don’t know if I want to go there’ – Wolves next manager bombshell dropped on Sky
Wolves are searching for their second manager of the season, but candidates have been warned of the consequences of becoming the next boss at Molineux.
Vitor Pereira was sacked at Wolves after less than a year in charge and having guided the club to Premier League safety last season.
Wolves’ 3-0 defeat at Fulham was Pereira’s last game in charge with the club bottom of the Premier League table without a win this season.
Brendan Rodgers is the favourite for the Wolves job after former boss Gary O’Neil pulled out of the running to return.

Jamie O’Hara warns next Wolves manager
Former Wolves player Jamie O’Hara, speaking to Sky Sports [5 November], believes that any manager taking on the vacant managers position at the club is taking a risk in their careers.
“I’ve been at Wolves when you’re down in the dumps and it is tough,” O’Hara said.
“It is a tough place to play at home, fans they will let you know how they feel, they will wait outside and they will tell you to your face.

“It’s a tough place to be right now for Wolves players and I think managers will probably look at it and go, I don’t know if I want to go there.
“What can I do, what’s the squad saying, what we going to do in January, what’s the project, where am I going?
“As a manager you’re putting your reputation on the line as well if you go there and it don’t work out where is your next move so it has got to be right and I think managers are looking at it thinking is it a good idea.”
Wolves have candidates for vacant manager position
Middlesborough boss Rob Edwards is another leading contender to take the job at Molineux, whilst former Celtic striker and current Ferencvaros manager Robbie Keane is also interested.
The club will have options despite their terrible position at the bottom of the table, and with 28 games remaining, the next manager will still hope of securing safety.
Wolves travel to Chelsea next before the international break, which is when a new manager could be appointed.
