Nicolas Jackson, Robert Sanchez react to Conor Gallagher’s message amid Chelsea exit links
Chelsea duo Nicolas Jackson and Robert Sanchez who are both linked with a move away from the club this summer have responded to former Blues midfielder Conor Gallagher.
Enzo Maresca has been busy in the transfer market already signing new strikers Joao Pedro and Liam Delap alongside winger Jamie Gittens from Borussia Dortmund.
Senegalese striker Jackson may therefore be left without a future at the club after two years in West London although Football Insider understands Maresca wants him to remain put.
Goalkeeper Robert Sanchez could also be departing following an error prone season, and West Ham are interested in the Spaniard.

Gallagher says ‘thank you’ in midst of transfer dealings
Gallagher was previously a Chelsea player before leaving the club in 2024 to join Spanish side Atletico Madrid.
The 25-year-old won the Europa League in his time at Stamford Bridge.
Gallagher returned to England to enjoy a day out at Wimbledon, which was liked by former team mates Jackson and Sanchez.
The midfielder captioned the post: “Thank you Wimbledon, what a great experience in centre court.”
Gallagher has been at the Club World Cup in America since the season ended, but with Atletico out of the competition he is now able to enjoy his down time.
Chelsea are still in the competition and will face Real Madrid in the final after beating Fluminense 2-0 in the semis thanks to a brace from Pedro.
Maresca upgrades could land further success
Football Insider Verdict
Chelsea’ Club World Cup exertions have given the club an £80m boost, which could be put towards their transfer targets.
More funds could also be generated by the sale of Noni Madueke to Arsenal and Raheem Sterling’s likely departure.
Maresca wants a new goalkeeper and it has emerged that Chelsea are willing to hijack United’s hopes of signing Aston Villa number one Emi Martinez.
The Argentine would represent a safer pair of hands in-between the sticks than Sanchez, but Villa do not want to sell and would prefer fringe players to depart before first team stars.
If Jackson does stay it would represent plenty of competition for places up-front and the Blues should have little problem scoring goals.

Dealp scored 12 for an Ipswich side relegated to the Championship, whilst Pedro has already made his mark by firing Chelsea to the Club World Cup final.
Since joining from Leicester a year ago, Maresca has guided Chelsea to the Champions League via a fourth placed Premier League finish, won the Europa Conference League and could now win the Club World Cup.
If Maresca signs the players he wants this summer, Chelsea could become a greater threat to the Premier League title challengers.
