Nottingham Forest ace Morgan Gibbs-White bids farewell in new message

Nottingham Forest star Morgan Gibbs-White has taken to social media to bid farewell to Lee Carsley after his time as interim England manager ended.

The 24-year-old made his England debut during the October international break, coming on for the last 13 minutes in their 2-0 win over the Republic of Ireland

Gibbs-White bagged his first international goal contribution in their recent 3-0 UEFA Nations League win over Greece, once again coming on as a late substitute to provide the assist for fellow debutant Curtis Jones’ goal.

He may have impressed during his two cameo appearances but the Nottingham Forest man has a lot of work to do if he’s going to establish himself as a key player under Thomas Tuchel.

The German has been tasked with ending England’s trophy drought and will be well-placed to earn their first piece of silverware since 1966 after qualification to the quarter-finals of the UEFA Nations League.
