Sources: Nottingham Forest agree Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo double deal amid new twist
Lewis O’Brien and Harry Toffolo have agreed to sign for Nottingham Forest despite reports that the two deals had collapsed, sources have told Football Insider.
Issues over personal terms have been resolved in a new twist.
The Huddersfield Town midfielder and left-back will now join the Premier League new boys in a double deal.

Football Insider revealed last Thursday (14 July) that Forest were in talks with O’Brien,23, and Toffolo, 26.
Both players impressed for Huddersfield as they narrowly missed out on promotion via the play-offs in 2021-22, losing to Forest in the final at Wembley.
O’Brien is under contract until 2025 and his deal, as revealed by this site in October, includes a £10million release clause.
Toffolo meanwhile is out of contract at the end of the 2022-23 campaign.
O’Brien can operate in a number of different midfield roles and turned out 50 times in 2021-22, scoring three times and laying on three assists.
Toffolo played 48 times in that campaign, with those appearances yielding six goals and eight assists.
The pair are set to become Forest’s seventh and eighth signings of the summer window ahead of their first top-flight campaign in over two decades.

Steve Cooper has added to his garrison in the form of Taiwo Awoniyi, Neco Williams, Moussa Niakhate, Giulian Biancone, Omar Richards and Dean Henderson have all been brought.
They will begin their Premier League season with a trip to St James’ Park to face Newcastle United on 6 August.
